Ford has recalled 2021-2022 Mustang Mach-E electric vehicles because of an issue with a key propulsion-system component that could cause a?loss of drive power. According to a report, battery main contactors?can overheat?after DC fast-charging or when the driver floors it too many times in a row. Ford issued an over-the-air fix containing revised software for two control modules. Dealerships?will install a software update. #recallmasters

Ford has recalled 35,328 vehicles due to side mirror LED logo lights that may short and cause a fire. Affected vehicles include 2015 through 2017 Lincoln Navigator sport utilities assembled at the Louisville, Kentucky plant. According to the report, light-emitting diode logo lamps within the driver- and passenger-side mirrors can short without tripping the short detection threshold, thus increasing the risk of a fire. #recallmasters

Ford has recalled an unspecified number of trucks due to a battery-related concern affecting certain F-150 Lightning pickup trucks. Affected vehicles include model years 2022 - 2024 equipped with the incorrectly manufactured SK Battery America. According to a report, the electrodes may be misaligned and cause a short circuit over repeated charge and discharge cycles. Ford does not rule out the risk of a high-voltage battery fire. #recallmasters

In celebration of International Women's Day 2025. There are so many women who have inspired my career, but one truly stands out - Diane Christine Coluzzi-Caswell. My career started in healthcare, acute care hospital systems to be exact. I was in awe of Diane. She had multiple degrees from Northwestern and USC and had overcome several challenges, including being hit by a car while working in Chicago. In addition to being sharp as a tack and ability to command the room, Diane always greeted the room with a smile. She made everyone feel welcome and all opinions could be voiced. I transitioned to her team after a few years under a different manager and my career skyrocketed. She was a true mentor and invested a ton of time nurturing my strategic growth and how to create value for myself as I migrated to other organizations and eventually out of healthcare. We talked regularly until her losing a bout with cancer on March 28, 2011. I think about her often and I miss her dearly. Even in my advance career, I could always count on her sound advice, steady perspective and business savvy. RIP Diane. #IWD25

“You seem like you can be the type of leadership we need here.” “Well that’s great to hear” “Yeah, seems like you’re a tough bitch and that’s what we need” I blanked after that. Here I was, newly laid off, coming into an interview for my dream position. General Manager for a luxury dealership. The interview had gone extremely well. I was poised, articulate, and calm. So why did he think I was a bitch? It was an eye opening experience for me. He basically offered me the job on the spot. I went home, told my husband and I just sat there. Numb. Why, as an intelligent young woman, did I need to be a “bitch” to be strong? It’s then I realized that some small men find strong, intelligent and capable women in only one light. The bitch light. And I am determined to end that. I can be strong, intelligent, poised, not waver in my voice and still be kind. Still be compassionate towards others. I think the best leaders I have known, regardless of gender, have been those things. I called him the next day and told him while I appreciated the offer, I needed to take some time to evaluate what I wanted to do next for myself. I’m glad I did. The management didn’t last there… and the store was sold shortly after. On this International Women’s Day 2025, I ask you to pause and think if you’ve ever categorized someone this way. And stop it.

This International Women’s Day, I want to celebrate the most incredible woman I know—my mom. She embodies strength, wisdom, compassion, and confidence in everything she does. As I grow older, I realize more and more just how selfless she has always been, constantly putting others before herself without ever seeking recognition. Her unwavering support and boundless love have shaped me in ways I can never fully express. She is my greatest role model, my source of wisdom, and the definition of resilience. Today and every day, I appreciate and celebrate her for the remarkable woman she is.
