The Preservation Trades Center (PTC) academies for 2025 are underway, in partnership with Rebuild PHL! ?? PTC crew members work alongside expert craft workers and prepare for a career in the trades while preserving Eastern State Penitentiary Historic Site, a National Historic Landmark. Through specialized trade academies in Carpentry, Cement Masonry & Plastering, and Masonry, PTC is bridging the gap for underrepresented communities in the skilled trades, including returning citizens, women, and people of color, offering long-term career opportunities in construction. ??? ??: Rebuild Philadelphia

Vare is also #RebuildPHL’s first completed $20+ million project, and the first of 183 rec centers to receive high-speed fiber optic internet! This work is about investing in the potential of our young people so that future world champions can play, learn, and grow at safe high-quality facilities right here in our city. Rebuild is recruiting for our Winter 2025 skilled trade academies at Eastern State Penitentiary! These are full-time, paid ($15 an hour), 4-6 week academies that prepare Philly residents for careers in the skilled trades. No experience required ~ steel-toed boots and SEPTA passes provided!
