Native American Heritage Month is more than just recognizing history—it's also about how we support Native American communities now. When computing students can see themselves in the tech industry, they’re more likely to excel. We’re proud to work alongside incredible partners like AISES who focus on mentorship, community, and belonging for Native American/Indigenous women and girls in computing classrooms and workplaces. Join us in welcoming AISES’ latest cohort of Reboot Scholars ?? Sheila Vent, Kristy Embree, Sara Troseth, Madelyn Teel, Madlima Leben, Dana Paresa, Madeline Gupta, Isabella Heintges, Blaze Goldstein, Nicolette Gomez, Lauren Etsitty, and Lucy Camblin!

Taking action to close the gender gap for underrepresented women of color in tech.
关于我们
The Reboot Representation Tech Coalition is a partnership of leading tech companies that have come together to multiply their impact, align their agendas, and pool their resources to address the gender gap for underrepresented women of color in tech. The Coalition’s first major undertaking will be a three-year push focused on doubling the number of Black, Latina, and Native American women receiving computing Bachelor's degrees in the US by 2025. Without this effort, the number of underrepresented women of color receiving computing degrees would not double until 2052, which carries with it a high cost for the sector and society. The Reboot Representation Tech Coalition was founded with the support of Pivotal Ventures, an investment and incubation company started by Melinda Gates, and is housed at NEO Philanthropy.

We need to be honest about something. At Reboot, we always talk about inclusion and belonging for BLNA women and girls in computing. But we’ve been overlooking an aspect of identity that impacts how they experience the world??? disability. It’s time we change that. That’s why we spoke to?Reboot scholar, Vrtreena Jenkins, a cybersecurity undergraduate at Western Governors University, who is building and expanding inclusive spaces for all computing students. Dive in to what we learned from her and why a disability lens is critical to build belonging for computing students: https://bit.ly/3yGN7VX
