  • The Other Moonshot is here! We've been collaborating with our friends at LAist/KPCC over the past few years to bring the story of three black LA-based aerospace engineers who helped put a man on the moon. A privilege to bring this story to audiences. Big thanks to our RV team: Rachel Swaby, Percia Verlin, Jade Abdul-Malik, and Mark Bush for working so tirelessly on this ... for YEARS.

  • Big congrats to Nancy Miller and Tucker Tooley Entertainment on this big ambitious show. ?? We're so proud to have been a part of it— and thrilled to see it out in the world.

Journalist / Podcast Host & Producer / Narrator: Check out my latest podcast: "Dead Sleep: True Crime for Bedtime" out now!

This was a true crime story like no other. In 2015, an alleged serial killer roamed the streets of South London, leaving scores of victims in his wake. The twist? His alleged victims weren't human— this shadowy predator targeted people's best friends: their beloved pets. Who was this man, dubbed the Croydon Cat Killer? Was he even...real? Passionate animal lovers-turned-DIY detectives were determined to find out and I was right there with them to join the hunt. Today, I'm so pleased to share my latest show, an Audible original podcast series I like to describe it as "Fargo on four legs" - a dark (and darkly funny) deep dive into a groundbreaking criminal case that exposes our human desire to protect innocent animals. Many many thanks to the incredible production team at Tucker Tooley Entertainment, along with Rachel Swaby & talented/tireless crew Reasonable Volume, Mary Auld & Charley Locke among many more who made this happen. And thanks to Audible and #AudibleUK for supporting this true crime twist on animal welfare. Thanks for listening!

We’re really proud of the client-agency collaboration on Microsoft WorkLab. Worklab is an editorial platform for articles, newsletters, research papers, data journalism, and podcast episodes about the future of work. The recently released Work Trend Index report demonstrates how WorkLab continues to drive the national conversation, sparking follow-on coverage from WIRED, The Verge, Forbes, Axios, Fast Company, Good Morning America, and more. We love to see that, and we also love to see WorkLab getting recognition from the online media mavens at Digiday. WorkLab just won the award for Best Agency/Client Collaboration in the Digiday Content Marketing Awards. This win is a recognition of Microsoft’s deep commitment to research, data gathering, and sharing the information that business leaders need to keep up with a landscape that’s in a constant state of transformation. It’s also a gratifying recognition of the great work of so many members of the GDP team, who are involved in every aspect of WorkLab’s editorial excellence—from assigning and editing and writing to design and layout to producing and recording. Follow the link below to read more about the award, and be sure to check out WorkLab and subscribe to the newsletter if you haven’t already! https://lnkd.in/erPrGuqf #worklab #microsoftworklab #worktrendindex #futureofwork #gdp #digiday #digidaycontentmarketingawards

Microsoft is getting back to back weeks of attention on my branded company podcast reviews, which is just a coincidence of when I discover shows, and the Xbox podcast with internal production and product updates is pretty different than this one from the Microsoft brand overall: - - - WorkLab - - - The show has been publishing for 46 episodes across six seasons starting in 2021. It’s interesting seeing simply from the episode titles and descriptions how the show has evolved from a focus on hybrid work in 2021-2022, and then to a current focus on how AI is changing the way we work. It also has had multiple seasons hosted by recognizable and accomplished podcast veterans Molly Wood and previously Elise Hu. The recent episode I listened to was with Charles Duhigg on his book Supercommunicators. I had an audio double-take listening to it, as I had just listened to him being interviewed on The Happiness Lab. He’s very effectively doing a major round of podcast guest spots. Just like when actors go on multiple late night shows to promote a new movie, you do hear some of the same topics and anecdotes. But for other branded company podcasts considering these types of episodes - there’s a reason they work really well! The WorkLab episode got great material about the Supercommunicator aspect of work and AI. (Additional credits to production partners Godfrey Dadich Partners and Reasonable Volume, and producers / editors Sharon Kallander, and Jessica Voelker. Hat tip to Imran A. for pointing me to the show!)
