This is an interesting and important read for college students and their parents. The fact is that most recent college grads need more help with the last, critical steps in landing their first career-related job. The shame is that most get very very close to the goal line, but they mishandle the key components of a successful transition from college to career, and they simply end up settling for less. This is not the student's fault. They just lack the career-focused set of skills needed to be successful in this leap.
