Thrilled to see our advisory board member, Jen Nguyen, be honored by Salesforce as a Woman of Impact for her contributions to the community via Ready, Set, Read! and The Tiyya Foundation. So grateful to have you on our team, Jen, and cheering this well-deserved recognition!
?? I don’t usually talk about my volunteer board work—blame it on the unspoken rule that we’re supposed to be humble and not brag about doing good things. But honestly… why? If we can celebrate career wins, why not also be proud of the work that makes a real impact? Consider this my humble (but not too humble) brag. ?? I’m proud to serve with The Tiyya Foundation, which provides economic opportunities and community support for refugees, immigrants, and displaced Indigenous communities, and Ready, Set, Read!, which helps young children build early literacy skills by increasing access to books and family reading support. Turns out, my strategy work in enterprise software isn’t what got me nominated for ?? Women of Impact—who would’ve guessed ?? ? While I love a good monetization model, it’s not the thing that fills my cup. So over the past few years, I’ve focused on finding organizations where I can make a real impact. I’m incredibly grateful that Salesforce not only encourages employees to give back but also recognizes the work we do beyond our day jobs. Huge thanks to the Salesforce Women's Network for this honor—and to the amazing communities I get to be part of every day. #WomenOfImpact #Leadership #CommunityImpact #Salesforce #Gratitude #Tiyya #ReadySetRead
