I am delighted to share that I am joining the Board of Directors at Ready. Set. Food! This company, and their incredible strategic vision, ven-diagrams perfectly with my twin passions: CPG + healthcare at scale. Can't wait to join Daniel Zakowski, Margaret Hardin, and other board members to help craft a food allergy-free future for American children. A special thanks to Holly Bolgar Jackson for the matchmaking and to Nicolas McCoy for the introduction. :) Ready. Set. Food! makes it easy for all parents to follow food allergy prevention medical guidelines, and to give their babies the best chance at a life free from food allergies.?Supported by national medical guidelines, and having great investors like Kenvue (Johnson&Johnson), Danone, and Providence Ventures, they've accelerated their growth through retail launches over the last 24 months at Target, Walmart, Meijer, Sprouts, and Kroger, and new legislation in Delaware that requires all insurance plans to cover their product.

A huge milestone for Delaware and food allergy prevention! Governor John Carney has signed HB 274 into law, making Delaware the first state to provide free peanut and egg allergen supplements to infants, helping prevent the development of life-altering food allergies. This groundbreaking legislation, championed by Rep. Kimberly Williams and supported by FARE, sets a powerful example for the nation. I am thrilled to share an exciting milestone in Auggie's journey with you. As many of you know, our community began as a modest WhatsApp group that quickly grew beyond our expectations. This rapid growth highlighted the need for a more robust platform to support our dynamic community of parents. I am proud to announce that the brand-new Auggie mobile app is LIVE! Recognizing the limitations of WhatsApp, we swiftly built an app tailored to our community’s needs. This decision was driven by our commitment to delivering a superior user experience and ensuring that our platform could scale alongside our growing community. We also launched tools that allow for parents within our community to organize and share recommendations with friends by creating guides on Auggie.com. Special shoutout to our amazing team - it's not easy to move as fast as we are. Adam Franchella, Marianne Chronister, Jesse Kaplan, Erin Lem, Emily Forrest Skurnik, Kristen Hutchinson, Rebecca Lockard, Sydney Foley and @lauramagnuson! We're so excited to be partnering with incredible brands like Nanit, Bobbie, Lalo, Summer Health, Naturepedic, Ready. Set. Food!, Triple Paste, and Qeepsake who stand behind our vision of making parents feel seen. Thank you for your early support! Huge thanks to TechCrunch and Aisha Malik for this amazing feature. We’re thrilled to announce our partnership with ObvioHealth to launch an innovative clinical study that will allow us to assess how early allergen introduction impacts infant food allergies and associated healthcare costs. The Early Allergen System Experience (EASE) trial will assess if using our early allergen introduction products can reduce two key barriers when it comes to introducing allergens to infants: 1) early introduction and sustained feeding of food allergens is burdensome for parents, and 2) it can also be costly, especially for low-income families. We look forward to learning the results from this study and hopefully help in closing a socioeconomic gap in allergen introduction.
