EXCITING NEWS! Neighborhood Reading Captains are now supporting LaSalle Park and Clinton-Peabody! Like a block captain, but for literacy—NRCs are residents who help build community and support young learners. The Neighborhood Reading Captains program is now active in the West End, Dutchtown, Normandy area, and now LaSalle Park and Clinton-Peabody in collaboration with St. Louis Housing Authority. ?? Can you believe it?! The Ready Readers Non-Event fundraiser turns 20 this year! Special cheers to our honorary chair Susan K. Goldberg for leading this unique effort for so many years. ? The Non-Event invites people to stay home and read a book instead of attending a gala. Thanks to the generosity of so many, the Non-Event has raised more than $2.5 million dollars for STL children since 2005! ?? You can find this special shout-out in the March 5 edition of Town and Style St. Louis!
