Pacific Northwest Christmas trees are the ultimate holiday travelers! ?????? A stunning 92% of these festive evergreens pack their bags and head out of the region, spreading cheer across the U.S. and beyond. California is the top destination, taking a big 45% of the trees to brighten up homes and holiday celebrations ???. But these trees don’t stop there they’re also headed to other Western states like Montana, Arizona, and Hawaii, making up 10% of the exports ????. Down south, the Gulf States Texas, Louisiana, and Alabama are eagerly awaiting 9% of the holiday shipment ????. And let’s not forget Mexico ????, which takes a hefty 16% of the trees, with a special love for Oregon’s Douglas-fir (23% of them head straight to Mexico!). Even the East Coast gets in on the action, with 4% of the trees finding their way to the Atlantic States ????. From coast to coast, and all the way to Mexico, these trees are not just growing in the Pacific Northwest they’re spreading festive joy far and wide! ????
