Readex, a division of NewsBank, publishes many of the most widely used collections of primary source research materials used in academic libraries. Academic librarians, faculty and scholars recognize Readex for its efforts to transform research in the humanities and social sciences and to dramatically reshape the study and teaching of centuries of history, literature, culture, and daily life. Today, Readex continues to play a leadership role by creating comprehensive and authoritative digital resources. Among these online collections are the Archive of Americana—a family of historical books, newspapers, and government publications that includes Early American Imprints, Early American Newspapers and much more. The Archive of International Studies includes the World Newspaper Archive, Twentieth-Century Global Perspectives, and essential databases for geopolitics and other extensively studied subjects. For nearly 80 years, Readex has been a leader in delivering unique, important and carefully curated collections of primary sources. We partner with many of the world's most renowned repositories, libraries and historical societies to identify and digitize primary source documents that are compelling in the classroom and vital for researchers.
