Read Custom Soils (RCS) is New England’s most experienced precision soil blender. The company operates from a New Hampshire quarry, a Westford blending facility, and a state-of-the-art blending facility in Carver, MA. Read is New England’s leading provider of lightweight planting soil for green roof installations, stabilized stonedust for nature paths and pedestrian walkways, bioretention/raingarden soils, a proprietary blend ideally suited for challenging urban tree planting, and specialized soils for athletic fields. Another great solution from our team at a project in Durham, NH. Our team was approached to find a permeable surface for a long stretch of walkway which was previously pavement. The plans called for stone dust but we know that would make a mess of things. We wanted to be able to keep this walkway clear throughout the winter and not have hours of clean up to do in the spring. We reached out to Read Custom Soils to find a solution. The team at Read Custom Soils walked us through the engineered products they have and found us the right product for the application. Jeff and his team we're super helpful and even came out for the first day of install to walk our team through the process. We went with one of their stabilized soils which are natural and non-toxic, low impact & permeable, LEED qualified, and came with with the manufacture support to assist with the install process. Great work by all to get all 100 tons of this material install completed!

The A.D. Makepeace Company recently presented Habitat for Humanity of Greater Plymouth with a donation of just over $6,700 plus a truckload of furniture. The donation resulted from a unique employee fundraiser - a silent auction of furniture and accessories.
