When it comes to assisting our families with enrollment, it all starts with our Director of Enrollment, Benjamin Zweig! Benjamin has been with Reach since 2019, starting as a Family Mentor. His experience with helping and connecting with our families, as well as his passion for helping new families find their footing at Reach, makes Benjamin an integral part of our community. Under Benjamin’s leadership, our Enrollment Department features 10 incredible Enrollment Specialists to help make the process of joining Reach an easy and enjoyable experience. In his free time, he loves to cook and enjoys seeing others enjoy the cuisines he puts together. Benjamin’s future includes going back to school to obtain a master’s degree. We are incredibly grateful to have Benjamin as a part of our Reach community and for the impact he makes on our families! #reachcyber #InspireAndNurture

Today, Reach Cyber Charter School is proud to put the spotlight on 3rd Grade Math Teacher, Katie Zangari! One of Katie’s signature traits is her ability and willingness to try anything new in the spirit of helping students with their education. Whether it’s utilizing Minecraft, which Katie used in her math lessons to engage with students or creating cross-curricular activities with her ELA triad teacher, Katie’s passion is unparalleled. Katie’s number one classroom rule is there is no failure, but rather learning experiences and she preaches to never be afraid to be wrong. We are incredibly fortunate to have someone as terrific and driven as Katie is and we cannot wait for more learning experiences that she will have in the classroom! #reachcyber #InspireAndNurture

Reach Cyber Charter School is excited to hold a series of Caretaker Workshops, which aims to give essential information, tools, and support to help caretakers confidently guide their students to a successful future after high school. These workshops will also include hands-on activities to help learn how to navigate things like FAFSA, exploring scholarships, and financial planning tools. The first session will center around filling out college applications! We also encourage students to join our first session as we will have a high school teacher there to provide students with a college application essay template. This template will aide the students craft their personal essay! Be sure to check your email for a flyer containing the link to join our Zoom room. Several of our Reach students took part in the Barbizon Personal Development internship! The goal of the internship is to help students embrace their uniqueness, be confident, and reach their potential! Some of what they worked on included self-confidence development, poise and posture, resume development, and so much more! Destiny is a 12th grade student at Reach Cyber Charter School, and another amazing example of how our accelerated learning program helps students reach their potential! Destiny first came to Reach in 8th grade after feeling that her public school did not suit her educational needs. She has excelled academically since coming to Reach and plans to attend college to pursue careers as a neurosurgeon and lawyer. Destiny places a high value on learning and her passion for knowledge helps her to connect with like-minded individuals. Outside of the classroom, Destiny is part of the Key Club and High School Yearbook Club at Reach. She also spends time playing guitar, writing poems, tutoring children, and volunteering at Saint Christopher’s Hospital for Children. Destiny’s desire to learn more, help others, and play a bigger part in this changing world is unparalleled. We are so grateful to have her and her family as a part of Reach and cannot wait to hear about the next steps in her journey! #reachcyber #InspireAndNurture
