We’re looking for a GNC (Navigation) Engineer to develop cutting-edge navigation solutions for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). This role is perfect for engineers passionate about pushing the boundaries of aerospace technology and working on real-world applications in logistics, defense, and humanitarian efforts. What You’ll Be Doing: ? Develop and implement navigation algorithms for UAVs. ? Assess vehicle controllability and performance to ensure mission success. ? Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate navigation solutions into UAV platforms. ? Conduct ground and flight tests to validate system performance. ? Work with sensor fusion techniques, including IMU/GPS, RTK-GNSS, and dual GNSS systems. ? Design and implement GNC algorithms, develop models, and refine performance through data analysis. What You Bring: ? 5+ years of relevant experience, including 3+ years in GNC system design. ? Bachelor’s or Master’s in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (or related field). ? But let’s be real: AI assessing ML engineers is, at best, a novelty and, at worst, a complete disaster. Here’s why AI interviews fail when assessing real engineering talent: ? AI doesn’t understand nuance – It struggles to evaluate problem-solving creativity, cross-disciplinary thinking, and the kind of engineering intuition that sets top talent apart. ? Garbage in, garbage out – AI interviews rely on predefined metrics. But great engineers don’t fit into neatly structured multiple-choice questions or formulaic responses. ? It can’t judge real-world impact – Can an AI interviewer truly grasp how a candidate optimized a model to reduce inference time by 50% in a mission-critical system? Not likely. ? Human collaboration matters – ML engineers don’t work in isolation, and an AI can’t assess leadership, mentorship, or the ability to work across teams.
