We're excited to announce that our Persistent Unattended Ground Sensor (PUGS) project, sponsored by Air Force Operational Energy, has been selected for funding by the Operational Energy Capability Improvement Fund (OECIF). PUGS harnesses wireless power-at-a-distance to enhance defense systems, such as counter UAS detection and border sensor capabilities. OECIF operates under the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition & Sustainment and is a key program within the Pentagon's innovation ecosystem. This selection not only further validates the Department’s need for our wireless power solution, but also supports broader national security priorities, including border security, air defense, and warfighter efficiency. Our PUGS project aims to advance wireless power-at-a-distance solutions, transforming how we power sensors, drones, and autonomous vehicles. Benjamin Richardson, former Director of the Energy Portfolio at DIU and member of our Government Advisory Board, commented: "Reach's groundbreaking RF-based wireless power technology has the potential to revolutionize our ability to protect our country by providing persistent power to critical defense capabilities such as ground sensors and drones." This funding opportunity through OECIF accelerates our mission to deliver this timely and important technology to those who protect our nation, domestically and abroad, enhancing the operational effectiveness of our armed forces through innovative solutions. #WirelessPower #Innovation #DefenseTechnology #PowerBeaming #counterUAS https://hubs.la/Q037Y7ZX0
