The rise of creators on college campuses is reshaping the landscape of influencer marketing in a unique way. I recently had the opportunity to discuss this in The Hollywood Reporter, where we explored how universities are embracing the creator economy. Influencer-related classes are growing and becoming a norm as higher education embraces the creator economy. As brands look for innovative ways to engage with younger audiences, college creators offer a unique advantage that extends beyond traditional influencer relationships. ????????’?? ?????? ?????????????? ???????????????? ???????????? ???? ???? ?????????? ??????????’?? ??????????: ? ???????? ??????????????????:?Unlike traditional influencers who focus solely on their online audience, college creators have influence both in their digital spaces and within their campus communities. Whether it's their peers, classmates, or members of Greek life, their reach is twofold, amplifying your brand’s exposure. ? ???????? ???????????????????? ???? ??????????-??????????????????????: College creators are part of tight-knit communities where engagement is personal and direct. Their peers look up to them as trendsetters, and the trust they’ve built with their audience is often stronger than that of larger influencers. ? ?????????? ???????????? ???? ????????????:?Campuses are often where new trends emerge. College influencers are at the forefront of what's cool and relevant, making them an invaluable resource for brands looking to stay ahead of the curve. ? ???????????????????????? ???????????? ??????????????: The authenticity of a college creator promoting a product to their immediate community—whether it’s through a dorm, classroom, or social gathering—can lead to stronger and more meaningful brand connections. ? ???????????? ???????????? ??????????????????: Engaging with college creators isn't just about today. Many of these young creators will continue to grow their personal brands beyond their college years, making them a valuable long-term partner. At REACH, we're dedicated to helping creators grow and thrive, both during and after their college careers.?We've built a community that empowers creators to develop their personal brands and find opportunities in the creator economy. We're also committed to helping brands tap into this potential. Through influencer campaigns, gifting opportunities, campus ambassador programs, and more, REACH partners with hundreds of companies to leverage the unique influence of college creators. I'm a firm believer that as the creator economy continues to evolve, college campuses will remain a vital hub for innovation and influence.

Political Science Undergraduate | President of USC REACH | Exploring the Intersection of Politics & Social Media

What a full circle moment it was for me Friday night. USC REACH initiated twenty four new members into the REACH family. Only one year ago, I was one of them being initiated into REACH. Yet here I am, a full year later as Co-President of this growing organization (special shoutout to the best Co Nila Makhfi). Time truly has flown by and life has definitely thrown a few curve balls in my plans, but it couldn't be working out any better for me, as I am merging my two passions, politics and social media together. I am truly privileged to run one of the most exclusive and sought after student organizations at the University of Southern California. I alongside my amazing executive board are continuing and determined to further REACH's mission to foster a community of like minded content creators, influencers, and digital marketers at USC. To our twenty four new members, you stood out among a large applicant pool, and I am excited to see what you all contribute to the family. And, of course a big thank you to the brands who sponsored the event as well as, all of the hard work my team put into the event: Dylan Miller, Jenna Gestetner, Claire Lucas, Keemia Mahmodian, Coby Russo, Jackie Holtz, Gianna Desdune, Elada Tebeje.

Influencer marketing isn’t just a “nice-to-have” for 2025 budgets—it’s essential. As someone who’s been both a creator and a brand advocate, I know the impact of influencers goes beyond surface-level engagement, driving real purchasing decisions. And with the upcoming holiday season, brands need to recognize that this space is only growing more powerful. A recent survey featured on Chain Store Age highlights the growing influence creators have on consumer gift purchases. More than half of Gen Z and Millennials reported buying a gift based on influencer recommendations, and 56% of all consumers say they’re likely to purchase holiday gifts they saw promoted by online creators. Think about that—over half of all holiday shoppers are making decisions influenced by creators they follow. The same study shows that for these audiences, trust and repetition matter. The majority of consumers need to see a product promoted two to three times before they even consider purchasing. This means building consistent, long-term relationships with influencers should be a priority. How to master influencer marketing in 2025: ?? ?????????? ???? ??????????????????, ????????-???????? ????????????????????????: One-off promotions are no longer enough. Consumers need to see a product promoted multiple times before they consider purchasing. Build sustained relationships with influencers who align with your brand values. ??????????????????? ??????????-??????????????????????:?Micro and local influencers often have higher engagement and trust within their communities, especially with Gen Z and Millennials. Don’t underestimate the power of smaller creators. ??????????????????????? ?????????? ??????????????: Video continues to dominate in terms of reach and engagement. Whether it’s TikTok, Instagram Reels, or YouTube, make sure your campaigns prioritize video storytelling. ?? ?????? ???????? ???? ?????????? ??????????????????: Measure everything. From impressions to conversion rates, use data to optimize your influencer campaigns and ensure you’re targeting the right audiences with the right message. ?? ???? ??????????????-??????????: More than half of consumers plan to purchase gifts based on influencer recommendations, and this trend is only growing. Make sure your brand is front and center in influencer gift guides and holiday content. In 2025, the brands that win will be those who connect authentically with their audiences—and creators are the key to making that happen.

Making the world a healthier place one post at a time while sharing the authentic journey of building a media company | Founder & Creative | Student at Penn State University

The 3 biggest social media tips I learned from one of the biggest college influencers in the world: 1?? The little moments are what make you, you. Even the smallest parts of your day can make you stand out as a person. Whether it's walking to class, doing the dishes, or running into a friend, capture everything. 2?? Utilize trends, but make them your own. It's no doubt that trends are a great way to attract virality, but it's important not to copy and instead make these trends resonate with your respective niche. Remember tip #1! 3?? NEVER focus on opinions. Everyone has an opinion, and a lot of times we're quicker to express negative ones than positive ones, especially in the comment sections of others. It's vital that we don't get bogged down by the opinion of one person. If people don't resonate with your content, that is on them. You WILL find your audience that will appreciate your authenticity and vulnerability. A major thank you to Katie Feeney for speaking to over 70 students at our first REACH meeting! If you want to speak at our next meeting, hit my DMs ?? Reagan Phillips Akshita Pothula Neela Azami Alexa Nystrom Luke Blauch Riley Ruberton Sebastian Fitzgerald ?? Making the world a healthier place one post at a time while sharing the authentic journey of building a media company | Founder & Creative | Student at Penn State University

? REACH, let's get to work! I'm incredibly excited to announce I am now the Director of Events for Penn State REACH, the nation's premiere social media organization! My job is to spearhead unforgettable events with the biggest influencers in the world. ?? Last year's exec board set the bar pretty high though... - Fall 2023: Hosted Josh Richards to premiere his YouTube show "Read the Room" for the first time ever followed by a private event. - Spring 2024: Hosted Brooke Berry at our first ever Snap School. These are definitely going to be hard to beat, but in the words of Drake, "The finish line is where I like to pull up and start from" (sorry that was corny but I couldn't help myself). I want to extend my gratitude to Justin Leusner and Juan Faura for recommending me for this position, as well as Reagan Phillips and Akshita Pothula for trusting me with this role. I can't wait to get to work with our amazing team: Riley Ruberton Alexa Nystrom Neela Azami Sebastian Fitzgerald Luke Blauch Here's to more memories. Comment who you want to see at the next event?? (And another thank you to Michael Bello, who over the weekend told me how impressed he was with my LinkedIn posts, I hope this one was up to par!)
