We are very excited to announce two big product updates: Whole Life Carbon, and 'Multi-use data'! 1. Whole Life Carbon: While we started Tangible being focused on upfront embodied carbon (A1-A5), we know that it's important to bear in mind impacts throughout the whole of a building's lifecycle, and many reporting requirements take a whole life carbon approach (CalGreen, ZCB, etc.) However, we also know that it's common to have multiple standards with different scopes of not just lifecycle stages but also parts of the building, GFA definitions, etc. That's why we built... 2. Multi-use data: Tangible's approach allows you to "measure once (at that phase), report [as many times as you like]." Now you can set a default standard for your entire organization, but create different reports with different scopes using the same data. TGS? SBTi? Interiors only? You got it. This also means that if you thought you needed to adhere to one standard but turns out you have different requirements in the future, numbers automatically update to reflect this. No additional billable hours. This is all in service of getting users closer to their data. We are very transparent about how we calculate everything (lmk if you want a link to our methodology!), but it's equally important to be able to actually *do* what you need to do with this data.
