RDC/JPA recently received "outstanding" performance evaluations for our work on the Lake Nona VA Medical Center Cardiovascular Center and the Battle Creek VA Medical Center Community Living Center. Both projects were highly praised by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Congratulations to our talented architects, interior designers, and sub-consultants for their exceptional effort and skill in bringing these projects to life!

Our team frequently encounters unforeseen conditions during site investigations. That's why we take time to conduct extensive on-site field work at the beginning of every project, ensuring we gather comprehensive information about the space. Jason Waite recently scrubbed up to use our LIDAR Laser Scanner in an OR Suite at the Miami VA Medical Center for a new project in collaboration with Above Group, Inc.. Laser scanning offers numerous benefits, including enhanced construction and operational outcomes, reduced design errors, and minimized risks of cost overruns, change orders, and delays.

We are excited to introduce John Christensen as RDC/JPA's new Senior Project Architect! John has over 20 years of experience working on healthcare projects. He attended school in Philadelphia, and worked all over the northeast before settling in Florida. Along the way, John has renovated several interesting homes, including an old Philadelphia row house and a Susquehanna riverfront cottage. Welcome to the team, John!

Our team has extensive experience working on Community Living Center (CLC) projects at various VA Medical Centers across the country. It is our privilege to design these residential style nursing homes that serve veterans of all ages, both short and long term. We utilize the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Small House Design Guide to ensure the finished space will support different patient populations and acuity levels. RDC/JPA's Technology Director, Jeremy F., recently completed this 3D rendering for Phase 3 of the Construct Replacement CLC - Complex Care project we are currently designing for the Franklin R Sousley VA Medical Center in Lexington, KY.

RDC/JPA is proud to have received “satisfactory” or better ratings on all of our VA Medical Center projects to date. Our team works hard to deliver quality projects by collaborating with clients to complete them on time and on budget, while satisfying the scope of the project. Below is a quote from an “outstanding” rated performance evaluation for the Renovate Interior Corridors project we recently designed at the Miami VAMC.

RDC/JPA has nearly completed design for the renovation of the third floor at the Troy Bowling VA Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. This project converts existing research lab space into new specialty clinic space and follows the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) Space Module Design Guide. Below are some 3D renderings our team created to visualize the future space.
