?? November is National Caregivers Month ?? At Rcoz, we honor the incredible strength and resilience of caregivers. The journey of caregiving is not just about physical care—it’s an emotional and mental journey that often goes unseen. The connection between caregiving and mental health is deep, and we recognize the weight that caregivers carry, both for their loved ones and for themselves. This month, we want to commend every caregiver for the brave mental paths they traverse. Your story matters, and so does your well-being. Remember, just like the ones you care for, you deserve care and support, too. ?? If you are a caregiver or know someone who is, and would like to share your story, visit rcoz.us/share-a-story. Every caregiver has a story—let’s care for them too. #NationalCaregiversMonth #MentalHealthMatters #CaregiverSupport #Rcoz #ShareYourStory

Rcoz October Recap - Part 2 ?? In the latter part of October, Rcoz joined events that brought our community together in meaningful ways. At the Fremont Candlelight Vigil, we stood in solidarity with Narika, Rewire Community, NISA (North American Islamic Shelter for the Abused), SAVE, Maitri , and City of Fremont leaders, honoring survivor stories and raising awareness against domestic violence. We also held our second Chalo Baatein Karen session, focused on men’s mental health, in collaboration with Therawin Health, a provider of culturally sensitive therapy. Addressing men’s mental health is a deeply important step in breaking silence around unspoken struggles, and this session opened a much-needed space for shared understanding and support. Finally, Rcoz participated in the Arunay Foundation Walkathon for beach safety. It was truly moving to witness Arunay’s parents transform their unimaginable loss into a powerful cause, working to protect others. Their strength and purpose were deeply inspiring. A heartfelt thank you to everyone we connected with— Shailaja Dixit, Yamini Dixit, Preet Kaur Sabharwal PsyD, Sunita Sohrabji, Kalpana Peddibhotla , Shubham Gupta, Kotaro Ando , Naman Solanki, Tarun Pruthi, Sharmistha Chakraborty , and many others—who continue to embody the spirit of support and resilience in our community. Rcoz October Recap - Part 1 ?? On October 10, Rcoz joined We Are For Good's ImpactUp Bay Area session, where we embraced the theme of Pause and kicked things off with an energizing icebreaker, connecting with inspiring local nonprofits. In the fast-paced world of impact work, it was a powerful reminder of how important it is to pause, reflect, and recharge. Huge thanks to Becky Endicott, CFRE, Jon McCoy, CFRE, and Lindsey Fuller for the opportunity, and it was fantastic meeting Krista Coutts, Mallory Erickson (If you haven’t already, check out her superbly insightful “What the Fundraising” podcast, and her new book by the same name that just came out last month!), Alia Peera, Stephanie Fine Sasse, and so many other amazing folks! On October 13, our founder Roopali Rajvanshy joined Namrita Yuhanna on Bolly 92.3FM, reaching thousands of listeners! She shared Rcoz’s journey and our mission to bring mental health awareness to the South Asian community. Many thanks to Namrita for this wonderful platform! Proud moment! Roopali Rajvanshy spoke on the Mind-Tech panel at TAL Hospitals HealthFest 2024, where our booth was buzzing with support for mental health in the South Asian community. Thank you Sai Gundavelli and shout out to Vikas Burri! It was great connecting with Rama iragavarapu, Anurag Mairal, PhD (He/His), Anita Manwani, Prasad Kaipa, Naren Kini, Charu Seth at the event.?
