Frist, Jr. College of Medicine! This honor celebrates the exceptional quality and innovation that went into creating our medical school's home. The month of February marked 5 years since the grand opening of?Dismas?House's new campus! Dismas House?is a non-profit whose mission is to "transform lives and strengthen communities by providing the formerly incarcerated with holistic reentry solutions."?After operating from an 8-bed house for 46 years,?Dismas?House moved to their new 72-bed campus in 2020, which has been monumental in growing their program and helping countless individuals navigate the barriers to successful reentry into the community. The Branch is a non-profit organization committed to empowering, educating, and nurturing those around us. In addition to their food pantry, The Branch also offers English Language Learning classes, Comprehensive Care, and more. Thank you to NAWIC Nashville for partnering with The Branch and giving more awareness to this great organization. ??EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT?? Meet Nic Johnson, one of our outstanding Assistant Superintendents, currently working on an addition at Abe's Garden Community Center. With 7 years of experience at R.C. Mathews, Nic has contributed to projects such as the historic Werthan Warehouse adaptive reuse and Vince Gill Room renovation at Belmont University. Big news for Nashville! Dolly: An Original Musical is making its grand debut at the ESa-designed Fisher Center for the Performing Arts! During the big announcement, Tony Award-winning director Bartlett Sher called the Fisher Center, "one of the best theaters in the world." And of course, Dolly herself had some wonderful things to say—because what’s a show without a little Dolly magic? The Fisher Center for the Performing Arts at Belmont University is a multi-use theatre featuring performance and rehearsal space for musical theatre, Broadway-level productions, opera, dance, orchestra and choral musical performances, as well as special events. This 33,500 sq. ft. addition seamlessly connects the high school with the elementary and middle schools, offering a 1,500-seat gymnasium, locker rooms, collaborative space, and more. With sustainable features and innovative design, The Jake is designed to meet the evolving needs of the school community for years to come. We're excited to share that Kaitlyn Jones has been named a 2025 40 Under 40 Winner by the Nashville Business Journal! Kaitlyn has been with R.C. Mathews for 13 years, taking on various roles over the years. She is also an active community leader, currently serving as the Vice-Chair of PENCIL Foundation, in addition to being on the?Executive Board for NAIOP - NASHVILLE and the steering committee for AEC Power Women. In the 40 Under 40 feature, Kaitlyn shared a selfie from her trip to Perito Moreno Glacier in Argentina, stating that she loves to travel and tries to explore at least one new place each year! Congratulations to Kaitlyn and all of the 2025 honorees!?
