Rayos Contra Cancer (RCC) is a non-profit telehealth organisation. We improve access to cost-efficient cancer treatments for patients in low-resource settings and connect clinics in low middle income countries with U.S.-based centralized radiation oncology support to promote medical training, research and infrastructure development. We collaborate with U.S.-based medical physicists, radiation oncologists, cancer centres, non-profit groups and international cancer organisations. We provide strategic and operational guidance to LMIC clinics and provide hand-holding to execute end-to-end solutions.

Strengthening and Radiotherapy Education: Continuing Our Journey with Rayos Contra Cancer (RCC) As Elekta Foundation celebrates three years of collaboration with Rayos Contra Cancer, I'm proud to reflect on the remarkable progress we've made together in advancing radiotherapy education in #LMICs. This partnership highlights the power of collective effort to #closeknowledgegap in #cancercare. We have some exciting new programs lined up for 2025. These courses are offered free of charge to clinicians from LMICs, though participants will need to commit 12-14 weeks to complete online lectures and assignments. Be sure to keep an eye out for open enrollment! Here's a glimpse of what's coming: ? High Dose Rate (HDR) Brachytherapy training for Medical Physicists in Southeast Asia ? Radiation Oncology Nursing Training for nurses in Africa and the Middle East ? Advanced Radiotherapy Technology courses on accurate treatment delivery in Latin America (in Spanish) ? Contouring Course on CNS and pediatric cases for Radiation Oncologists in Southeast Asia. A special thank you to Dr. Benjamin Li, the visionary founder of RCC, whose passion, leadership and unwavering commitment have been the driving force behind this initiative. As a radiation oncologist at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, he has a busy clinical schedule but works tirelessly to lead this effort.
