In celebration of Women's History Month, RQN's Women Lawyers Group members were asked to share about a person or moment that helped them in their career. RQN Attorney Lydia Rytting shares the impact her mother has had and continues to have on her life and career. “The woman who has most affected my career is my mother. From a young age, she instilled in me a deep love of reading that continues to this day. She always sided with the underdog, encouraged me to listen to all perspectives, and taught me to question authority. She always encouraged me to be independent and told me I could do anything I wanted to. Perhaps most importantly, my mother has supported me through every step of my legal career as I became a mother myself. She drove me to my IVF appointments so I could study for the LSAT on the way; she drove my pump to the law school when I forgot it; she watched my firstborn during 1L classes; she brought me Starbucks when I was nine months pregnant about to take an evidence final; and most importantly, she has loved me and my children fiercely. It is difficult to quantify her impact, as I certainly would not be a lawyer had it not been for her love and support.”

In celebration of Women's History Month, RQN's Women Lawyers Group members were asked to share about a person or moment that helped them in their career. RQN Shareholder Katie Priest shares what an important role model her mother was while raising her and her siblings and still is today. ? "My mom has always been a professional woman – she worked in leadership roles and obtained a graduate degree with five young children. I have always been able to look to her example of achieving professional excellence (and ask her for all of the advice along the way) while striving for the same excellence in my own career. And my mentors and colleagues along the way have been an enormous support in this journey."

We’re thrilled to share the successful resolution of a significant case. Attorneys Jamie Thomas of Ray Quinney & Nebeker and Alex Ramos of Langford Ramos secured the dismissal of a federal indictment against their client, Robert Molling, the owner of 1% Fitness. ? Indicted on seven counts of wire fraud related to allegations of misrepresenting his criminal history to obtain COVID-19 EIDL funds, Mr. Molling maintained his innocence throughout the proceedings. His legal team’s diligent work led to a Stipulated Motion to Dismiss, filed by the United States on December 11, 2024. ? This outcome reaffirms the value of perseverance and justice. Mr. Molling, a respected entrepreneur and dedicated community volunteer, is eager to leave this chapter behind and continue making a positive impact. ? Congratulations to Jamie Thomas and Alex Ramos for their exceptional advocacy!
