John Lanier and the team at the Ray C. Anderson Foundation recently sat down with journalist and long-time friend of the Foundation, Maria Saporta, to share the news that the Foundation will “lean in” to the opportunity to make the most impact we can in the next five years, when the Foundation will sunset. More on our plans to broaden philanthropic support for the initiatives that we have created and championed between now and 2030 below. https://lnkd.in/e8TKUCQT

Creating a better world for Tomorrow's Child.
关于我们
The Ray C. Anderson Foundation was created in honor of the late Ray C. Anderson (1934-2011), founder of Interface, Inc. During his time at Interface, Ray championed the notion of businesses doing well by doing good. It’s these noble qualities of advancing knowledge and innovation around environmental stewardship and sustainability that recognized Ray as a pioneer in industrial ecology. The purpose of the Foundation is to perpetuate these shared values and continue the legacy that Ray left behind. Through research and funding, the Foundation aims to help create a better world for future generations—tomorrow’s child. We seek to: Fund innovative ideas and projects that promote visionary change in society. Educate the public and business leaders alike in meaningful ways that propel revolutionary, sustainable change. Inspire a new generation of leaders and consumers to be good stewards of the planet's resources, igniting action that radically impacts the way we live, work and play. Connect thinkers, builders, innovators and idealists to a shared, ethical responsibility to the environment.
