Hi folks – I am excited to share that The Lumber Manufactory (TLM) just launched the beta version of its timberland management and lumber production platform. When?Andrew Arsht?and I started TLM, our goal was to make America’s forests more productive by connecting landowners with opportunities to sell their timbers. To achieve this, we knew we had to build a nation-wide network of modern sawmills designed for quick construction, low capital costs, and extremely low operating costs. We also knew we had to build a system for landowners - to connect them to timber buyers, better manage their trees, and assist in growing their forests. Over the coming weeks and months, the TLM platform will endeavor to do exactly that: empower landowners to make the most of their land while being good stewards of the environment.
