A Southwestern Speckled Rattlesnake being released to deep cover after a capture in an Ahwatukee backyard.
关于我们
Rattlesnake Solutions LLC is the busiest snake relocation and prevention business in the United States, relocating over 1,400 snakes from homes in the Phoenix and Tucson metro areas each year. Founded in 2010, Rattlesnake Solutions works to solve conflict between native reptilian wildlife and an ever-expanding urban landscape through education, conservation, and direct mitigation. Funding generated from snake removal and prevention services are used in part for rattlesnake conservation research and educational outreach. Rattlesnake Solutions provides snake relocation and prevention services in Arizona. In the process, we meet thousands of homeowners, and learn about their encounters with wildlife in, and have developed a deep understanding of the challenges that rattlesnakes face in developing urban environments. Rattlesnakes are almost universally hated and often killed by even "animal lovers" and outdoors enthusiasts and often killed, needlessly. Rattlesnake Solutions' education outreach is focused outside of the traditional nature-center setting, seeking to speak directly with those who are most likely to fear them, kill them, and end up a statistic themselves in the process. By directly challenging the personalities that are the source of dangerous misinformation, we hope to change the culture of fear surrounding Arizona's most iconic wildlife.

The family dogs notified the homeowner to a snake in the yard. They thought it was a rattlesnake until Marissa was able to catch it, and show that it was just a Sonoran Gophersnake making a lot of noise. There was also a Sonoran Desert Toad by the door, so they got to be best friends for a short time during transport.

A Western Diamondback Rattlesnake found its way from a wash to the courtyard of this Scottsdale home. The dense boxwood and higher ambient humidity can't be ignored by wildlife fighting to stay alive in the Arizona summer. CJ was careful to find the perfect release site where it could continue to aestivate safely. This not only increases the chances of the snake's continued success, but reduces the likelihood of future conflict with people.

This Western Diamondback Rattlesnake sent Nik on a call to the direct center of an apartment complex. The entire outer habitat had been deleted, and it had managed to survive in the landscaping. Fortunately the neighbors called to have it removed, and a release site was carefully selected where it can hopefully live a long, bulldozer free life.
