Yesterday, members of the Rasky team joined the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce at their Government Affairs Forum featuring Governor Maura Healey (Office of Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey) for her annual address to the Chamber community. Governor Healey touched on several topics important to the continued progress of the Commonwealth as well as the folks we work with,?including a new Climate Tech Initiative, better business community support, increased efforts to position local youth as top-learners, AI/tech and more.

This morning, WBZ | CBS Boston's intrepid reporter Levan Reid joined Eric Turner at Lasell University's Augmented Reality/Virtual Reality Lab. Lasell is one of only four Massachusetts-based higher education institutions offering students the opportunity to explore this technology. With nearly $750,000 in funding from the Mass Life Sciences Center (MLSC), the lab was designed to provide students with immersive learning experiences in a range of disciplines in the arts and sciences.

As an amateur weather enthusiast, it was especially exciting to connect Keith Seitter, former Executive Director of the American Meteorological Society and current faculty member at the College of the Holy Cross, with Heatmap News' Jeva Lange to discuss the risks of privatizing weather forecasting. Seitter highlighted the critical importance of maintaining collaboration between the government and private sector, stressing the need for efficient and accurate weather services - especially as extreme weather events continue to rise. Always great to work with WBZ | CBS Boston reporter Levan Reid and photojournalist Garth Millen who joined Noelle Trent, Angela T. Tate and Jerrill Ugwunze at the Museum of African American History (MAAH) this morning. Levan and Garth toured the African Meeting House and MAAH exhibits including the new interactive, Being Frederick Douglass, which uses AI and a holographic image of the abolitionist, author, and statesman, to immerse visitors in Boston's rich history.

Our Boston office and New England Council joined forces today to welcome young professionals for a Guiding Stars mentor roundtable.
