Project Showcase: A Modern Approach to a Mainline Home RAS partnered with our client and Abby Schwartz Architects to transform this Mainline home with stunning outdoor spaces that beautifully merge modern design with traditional materials. The new pool is seamlessly integrated into the hillside, providing expansive views from the pool house terrace and acting as a sculptural water feature from the residence. A horticulturally rich planting palette enhances the landscape, while a refined garden at the entrance offers a warm welcome, reflecting the home’s unique blend of contemporary and classic design. Excited to showcase our project at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point's Chemistry & Biology Building! RAS led the design for the Tropical Conservatory, home to 400+ plant species from around the globe. Our collaboration with the biology department resulted in a stunning exhibit space that meets educational goals and features design elements like a three-tiered water feature and green wall that also provide educational components for students in the program. Congratulations to Principal Geoff Anderson for completing his 7th year teaching Longwood Gardens’ Landscape Design II continuing education class. Geoff introduces students to advance landscape design theories and practices. https://lnkd.in/eMpYCeaV Geoff is a LEED accredited professional with over 35 years of experience designing public and private gardens, historic landscapes, and urban spaces. He received his BS in Horticulture from North Carolina State University and Masters of Landscape Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania. His most recent projects include a series of park renovations and streetscape improvements for the City of Wilmington.
