关于我们
Rapport Therapeutics aims to transform the treatment of neurological disorders through a precision medicine approach, precisely targeting disease-driving neurocircuits by leveraging receptor-associated proteins (RAPs). With this approach, Rapport can overcome the well-established limitations of today’s neuromedicines that act indiscriminately throughout the nervous system, resulting in suboptimal efficacy and burdensome side effects. Leading the hunt for precision medicines is a team with established track records of innovation in neuroscience and drug discovery. Rapport was conceptualized and created through a partnership between Third Rock Ventures and Johnson & Johnson Innovation-JJDC, Inc. (JJDC) and launched in March 2023. Rapport is based in San Diego, CA and Boston, MA. For more information, please visit www.rapportrx.com.

It's the little things...
To show that your staff is appreciated does not take much. A little gift here and there means a lot and shows that management is thinking about more than just making the next deal or hitting the next milestone. And, I appreciate those little things that Rapport is doing for its employees. Today, we received “Show-me” BBQ sauce to emphasize our values and give us a little treat. The custom Nike sneakers certainly were the highlight of the “little” gifts (so far) but I value them all and working for a company where culture is on the top of the list.

In celebration of Black History Month, we're proud to hear from Abraham (Abe) C. as he reflects on his Black identity – how it has shaped his leadership style and the influential Black figures who have inspired his journey. As Abe shares, "I have felt a relentless obligation to help improve the lives of others. This focus has been deeply influenced by my identity and the symbiotic responsibility I carry in both my personal and professional life." Abe leads our pack with confidence, care, and integrity, and we’re grateful for his dedication to patients, our people, and our science. #BlackHistory #BlackHistoryMonth

Today we’re celebrating International Day of Women and Girls in Science and shining a dino-mite spotlight on Laurie Volak, Sr. Director of Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics. Laurie believes that if you enjoy what you do every day, it will never be “work”, it’s a place that you cannot wait to get to and “play”. We love this mindset and are inspired by women like Laurie… a mother of three, who shows up to our San Diego office every day ready to ROAR! #WomenInScience #InternationalDayOfWomenAndGirlsInScience #WomenInSTEM

Wishing a joyful Lunar New Year to all who celebrate! We savored a delicious meal as a pack, with Chinese food on the menu, made even more meaningful thanks to Justin Truong, Lynn Nguyen, and Xiang Wang who graciously shared their Lunar New Year traditions with us. Be sure to read through how they celebrate with their loved ones and here’s to good fortune in the new year! #lunarnewyear

#ThrowbackThursday! Today, we’re throwing it back to our Winter Shutdown and highlighting our time with friends and family. From staycations to a stop at the North Pole on the Polar Express… our pack made the most of their time out of office. Good times were had through old traditions (like baking holiday cookies with family) and new (first Bruin’s game). 2025 is off to a fast start, and we’re excited for all that lies ahead. #NewYear #WinterShutdown #OOO

In honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day this Monday, we reflect on his powerful words: "Life's most persistent and urgent question is, 'What are you doing for others?'" In response to the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles, and in tribute to Dr. King’s legacy, we have made a donation to various Black families who have been displaced. We have also donated to the NAACP to support the ongoing effort to advance Civil Rights and continue Dr. King’s legacy of equality and justice for all.

We’re happy to share new RAP-219 data from our recent PET and MAD-2 trials. These trials demonstrated that RAP-219 was able to quickly achieve target engagement and therapeutic exposures in the brain while maintaining a generally favorable tolerability profile. The data also support the dosing regimen used in our ongoing Phase 2a trial in focal epilepsy that is expected to read out in mid-2025.
