I had another busy week working to impove our legal community. As a Board Member of the State Bar of Texas, Judicial Section, I attended the Annual Board Meeting in Austin and then met with several of our State Representatives at the Capitol. I also held my annual Ad Litem Continuing Legal Education seminar in my courtroom, talking about practicing in County Court at Law No. 1 and ad litem expectations. This seminar is always well attended by the local bar. Of course, this in addition to my weekly dockets and court duties.
