Janon Bourgeois - I hope this is a tv edit for what you really shared about your crazy experiences working Hurricanes with us. You did not do justice the work you were a part of- but thank you for the shoutout. Chef Janon started in our Chef on The fly program supporting a University and quickly got ‘thrown into the kitchen’ for hurricane response work. Some unforgettable experiences we had in Florida and North Carolina. Thank you so much for all of your hard work- also thank you for: Navigating for hours without cell phone service across Florida Talking to everyone and anyone to try to find a gas station that had gas. Getting dropped into an abandoned airfield with no food and no water, literally, to clean a kitchen trailer that looked like it rolled over on the highway 4 times. Shooting over ‘real quick’ from Tampa to Melbourne to Orlando back to Tampa - to check on a worker. Airbnbs with no power - Airbnb’s with no water. Vehicles stuck in ditches - vehicles out of gas - on and on and on. Thank you for your contribution to RRS this fall . https://lnkd.in/gDb3PGAQ
