This year 2024' Deepavali celebration in our new factory at Kulim Hi-Tech was filled with joy and excitement! Our Kolam Competition brought out amazing creativity, with teams creating colorful designs and winning monetary cash prizes above RM500, plus hampers for others who joined in. The Best Dressed Competition was another highlight, with employees showing off their Indian traditional outfits and winning fun prizes. Aside, Rapid Management team treated everyone a special signature briyani buffet lunch by Kapitan, giving us all a real taste of Deepavali. Every employee received a special Deepavali sweet as a doorgift. It was a day of fun, laughter, and togetherness - a reminder that at Rapid Manufacturing, we’re more than a workplace and we’re a family that celebrates and grows together. ?? Astronics Cup 2024: A Huge Success! ? We are excited to announce the successful conclusion of our in-house Futsal Tournament – Astronics Cup 2024, held at Rapid Manufacturing's own futsal field on 18th October 2024! The tournament featured 10 teams competing over the span of a month, culminating in an exciting final match with the top 4 teams battling it out for the title on the final day! This special event was named after our esteemed customer, Astronics who was inspired by our focus on employee engagement & experience during the recent visit. In support of our initiatives, Astronics generously sponsored all the prizes, trophies, and the prestigious Champion Cup. We are proud to reflect one of Rapid's core values, "Customer Focus," because our success is also our customer’s success. Hence, the Astronics Cup 2024 was born a symbol of partnership and shared achievement. This event was an enormous success and created a fantastic atmosphere among our employees. What made it even more special was the decision by Rapid Management to open the doors to family members, allowing them to witness the thrilling final match and experience the excitement firsthand! To make the event even more festive, we organized a lucky draw gift session for everyone and set up Kapitan’s "pasar" concept food sales in our facility areas which attracted nearly 200 people to get involved in the event. A huge shoutout to the Rapid team for organizing such an amazing event, and a big thank you to Astronics for their generous support. An Incredible Turnout for Our Walk-In Interview Event! We are beyond excited to share the amazing success of our Walk-In Interview event for the Technical Assembler position, held on 20th October 2024. We had an incredible total of 2,500 candidates attended the event, with some eager applicants lining up as early as 4:00 AM, even though the event officially began at 9:00 AM! The overwhelming response to our event exceeded all expectations. Within just 2 days of launching the advertisement, we received over 2,500 registrations, forcing us to close registrations earlier than planned due to the sheer volume of interest. We are grateful for everyone’s patience, especially given the slight rain that day, and for making the event such a resounding success! Despite the high turnout, we managed to conduct interviews smoothly throughout the day. We would like to express our sincere thanks to everyone who participated, including those who dropped off their CVs for other positions. We are now processing and reviewing all applicants and those shortlisted for the next steps will be contacted soon. For those who applied for other roles or left their CVs with us, rest assured that we are actively reviewing them and will reach out in due course.
