RAPID-GUARDIAN 911 Inc. is a non-profit organization that provides a database service that allows parents and caregivers of special needs individuals and elderly individuals diagnosed with Alzheimer's/Dementia to complete a web-based form that provides first responders with key information to help them communicate and provide care in emergencies. RAPID-GUARDIAN 911 integrates with local 911 dispatch centers, allowing dispatchers to access the database and send the completed form to first responders in the event of an emergency. The completed form sent to first responders includes a photo and demographic details, insight into atypical behaviors to be aware of, the individual's preferred method of communication, any comfort items they might have, and, most importantly, a map highlighting the nearest water sources and places of interest the individual may wander to. Lastly, RAPID-GUARDIAN 911offers a lifeline and support for individuals with special needs and elderly citizens with dementia, reducing the risks associated with elopement.

A Big Thank You to Maury Regional Health Care Foundation! for their generous grant of $3,000.00 to enhance the safety features of RAPID-GUARDIAN. On May 8th, Maury County faced a devastating tornado that caused significant damage and injuries to many of our citizens. Thanks to the new safety feature funded by this grant, our emergency personnel were able to track the tornado’s path and locate individuals with developmental disabilities who were impacted by the tornado. RAPID-GUARDAIN Alerts were sent out to local emergency agencies ensuring first responders had crucial information to provide the necessary emergency care and most importantly know how to communicate with individuals if they are nonverbal. Your support has made a tremendous impact on our community's safety and well-being. Thank you for helping us protect and serve our citizens better!
