Since 2008, she has served at the U.S. Attorney's Office in the Western District of Texas, handling cases involving violent crime, cyber offenses and human trafficking. NEW TO RANSOMED LIFE? ?? Thank you for stopping by! We have been a nonprofit for 10 years working in San Antonio and the surrounding areas to stop child trafficking and exploitation. ?? We do this with a two-fold approach: 1.) ??We provide Prevention Education presentations that have been specifically developed for elementary age - Mousetraps, for middle/high school age - Lures & Lies, and for adults/caregivers as well as State Approved Medical Training for licensed healthcare professionals in Texas. 2.) ??We have on staff Licensed Counselors who provide trauma informed counseling for youth ages 11- 24 who are at-risk or confirmed sexually exploited. In addition, we have one to one mentors who walk alongside the youth when they are therapeutically ready. This crime is much more prolific than people realize and at Ransomed Life we are committed to bringing light to the darkness to see No Child Sold! ???? We have a wealth of resources on our website. We had the privilege of being invited to the Inaugural School Connect Summit last week. ?? Ransomed Life works each day to see No Child Sold in our community. We do this by offering well curated Prevention Education Presentations to the community so adults and youth are trained on the lures and lies that traffickers use to entice young people into the world of sex trafficking and exploitation. We also offer at no cost to our clients, professional trauma informed counseling to those confirmed and at risk of trafficking/exploitation. We continue the after care with our mentor program, when the client is therapeutically ready. See the impact Ransomed Life has made in San Antonio and the surrounding communities in 2024. Through a concentrated effort to bring awareness, Ransomed Life's Prevention Education Team has worked to train as many adults and youth in our community as possible on the tactics that the traffickers are using to lure our youth. 2.) Our Trained Professional Counseling Staff and Mentor Volunteers work tirelessly with youth that have been affected by the heinous crime. Healing from the trauma takes work on the survivors part and we are honored to walk with them through their healing journey.
