We were able to show the many paths and opportunities in the construction field and demonstrated the possibilities students can have learning a trade. Tate Reeves announced Site Development grants:?Rankin County will receive $2.3M for infrastructure improvements to the EMC Industrial Park in Brandon, MS and $250k for the Bailey Morrison Site in Pearl, MS. #RankinFirst Mississippi Development Authority https://lnkd.in/emPnxN29

The groundbreaking for The Heights District was this Tuesday, which is huge news for Rankin County! ? The Heights at Brandon is a dynamic mixed-used development which includes incredible new dining destinations, a full-service boutique hotel, luxury lofts, retail space, common green space, and so much more. It’s a privilege to bring new experiences to both residents and visitors of Brandon. It will feature an 82-room boutique hotel, 92 Luxury Lofts, and 18,000 sq ft of Restaurant & Retail space next to the Brandon City Hall Complex. Congratulations to our partners at Ergon Inc. on today's groundbreaking for their headquarters expansion. They will create 200 new jobs at their Mirror Lake Headquarters in Rankin County. Ergon started with just 2 employees in 1954, and the company has grown to over 4,000 worldwide. We are grateful for their continued partnership and support in our community! Rankin County has a career coach for every Rankin County School District high school,?including Pearl High School. That is nine career coaches with the main goal of advancing Rankin County's workforce development.
