??Exciting things are happening at Ranken Jordan! ?? ICYMI, last month we officially unveiled new classrooms for our OZ program. OZ offers hospitalized, medically complex kids age 5 and younger the opportunity to have structured social play and developmental stimulation – two important factors to help reduce the adverse developmental impacts that often accompany long-term hospitalization. OZ’s new home is a major milestone in our mission to create a world where every child with complex medical needs lives their best life. Happy #NationalCaregiversDay! We want to thank St. Louis Magazine for the fantastic story about the impact of OZ in the lives of 3-year-old Danielle Rey, and her mom/caregiver, Carole. OZ, short for “Optimization Zone,” is our in-hospital, neurodevelopmental program for children aged five and younger with complex medical conditions. Ranken Jordan recently built a permanent space for our OZ program! It’s a program we’re extremely proud of, and our new classrooms provide space for even more children to take part in OZ moving forward!
