A pet-friendly hotel that doesn't cater to dogs is like a restaurant serving food without flavor. It's not genuine hospitality. Hotels need to realize that for many, a dog isn't just a pet; it's family, and family deserves good hospitality.

We certified? The Dolder Grand?as dog-friendly, and they scored an awesome A rank, making them a great choice for dog owners visiting Zurich. They have a chef-designed dog menu (Hunde Karte) with no less than four different meal options for your dog to choose from, and dogs are welcome in their bars, restaurants, and throughout the hotel, showcasing their canine inclusivity. They provide beds, bowls, and treats and can even take your dog for a walk if you need them to, making them one of the best dog-friendly hotels in Zurich. Well done Markus Granelli, Joachim Schweier, and team! https://lnkd.in/d6THbnXY

We certified the InterContinental Montreal as dog-friendly, they scored a disappointing D rank, making them a barely acceptable choice for dog owners. Canine inclusivity is nonexistent, dogs are not allowed in the bar, restaurant, terrace, or public areas. They also fail to provide basic amenities like a bed, or food and water bowls. But in return for a $40 per night canine tax, you get some dog treats, a small travel bowl, a small blanket, and a plush toy. There is room for improvement here Armand Abitbol. https://lnkd.in/dudJEf_e

We certified the?J.K.Place, Rome,?as dog-friendly; they scored a respectable B rank, making them a good choice for owners of very small dogs. With an absurd weight limit of just 22 pounds (10 kg), they exclude medium-sized dog breeds like our founder's Labrador and restrict access to all but the smallest dog breeds, calling into question their commitment to being dog-friendly. Dogs stay for free, though, and they provide beds, food, and water bowls, so you don't have to bring them with you. Dogs are also allowed in their bar and restaurant, enabling you to enjoy the hotel with your (small) dog. Pensiamo che il vostro limite di peso sia assurdo Maria Strati. https://lnkd.in/dGMKVXav

We certified the Carlton Hotel St. Moritz as dog-friendly; they scored a respectable B rank, making them a good choice for dog owners. Dogs are welcome in their bar and restaurant, and they provide beds and bowls. With no weight restrictions and two dogs per room allowed, their canine inclusivity shines, but there is an absence of services like dog walking and some restrictions like being unable to leave your dog in the room. Overall this is a good dog-friendly hotel, but it could be better Stephanie Lehnort. https://lnkd.in/dpFtYNpS

We certified the?Ojai Valley Inn?as dog-friendly; they scored a respectable B rank, making them a decent choice for dog owners visiting Ojai, California. They provide beds and bowls and even have dog food on their room service menu. But they do charge a completely insane canine tax of $300 *per dog*, which is the highest pet fee we have ever seen at any hotel we have certified. How do you justify that outrageous canine tax Coni Thornburg? https://lnkd.in/du8Dad-E

We certified the?Principe Forte dei Marmi?as dog-friendly; they scored our failing F rank, making them a hotel that dog owners should avoid. The hotel charges a canine tax of €50 per night while failing to provide basic amenities like beds, bowls, food, or treats. They also have an absurd weight limit of just 11 pounds, excluding most dog breeds, including our founder's labrador. Canine inclusivity is nonexistent, with dogs banned from their bars and restaurants, and their pet policy appears to contain a threat that they might place your dog into a local animal shelter for 'disrespect.' Your hotel feels actively hostile to dogs Nicolò Grillo, this is a disgrace. https://lnkd.in/d3tFXXiA

We certified the Kempinski Hotel San Lawrenz as dog-friendly; they scored our failing F rank, making them a hotel that dog owners should avoid when visiting Malta. They fail to provide basic amenities like beds, bowls, food, or treats, so you must pack and bring them. The weight limit is 44 pounds (20 kg), which excludes medium-sized dog breeds like our founder's Labrador. This is a shameful rank Karl Azzopardi, and the lowest ranking of any of the Kempinski Hotels we have certified so far in any country. https://lnkd.in/ddQKMW5b

We certified the?InterContinental Toronto Centre?as dog-friendly; it scored a failing F rank, making it a hotel that dog owners should avoid.?Its absurd weight limit of 50 pounds excludes our founder's Labrador, and canine inclusivity is non-existent, with dogs banned from its bar, restaurant, and public lounge areas. Dogs are not allowed to stay in the room on their own, and they have the most hostile pet-friendly policy we have ever seen at any hotel. Dog owners should avoid this hotel; it holds the title of being the worst dog-friendly hotel that?InterContinental Hotels & Resorts currently operates. https://lnkd.in/dbp2sw_i

We certified The Alpina Gstaad?as dog-friendly; they scored a respectable B rank, making them a good choice for dog owners visiting Gstaad. Dogs are allowed in their bar (until 7pm) but not in the restaurant. Beds and bowls are provided, and they can also arrange dog walking services. There is room for improvement here Amélie Guénard Helgoualc'h. https://lnkd.in/ddRhf42Q
