On 8 March, the world marked International Women’s Day with this year’s theme #AccelerateAction. At Rank, we wanted our conversations around #IWD25 to highlight the year-round efforts of our brilliant colleagues in driving #inclusion, every day. That’s why our focus was on two key conversations - both centred on male allyship and support because gender inclusion is something we all play a part in. ?? A talk about #menopause and the workplace with Dr Angela Sharma, unpacking what menopause is, how it impacts people at work, and how we can all be supportive colleagues, partners, and friends. This was an opportunity to normalise conversations and encourage line managers to be empathetic and open when a colleague raises concerns. ?? A chat with Dan Wolff, Clare Lord, and Andy Crump, exploring experiences and perspectives on gender inclusion, male allyship, and inclusive workplace culture - an insightful, open, and honest discussion followed by a Q&A session. Global teams, local impact! Supporting our local communities isn’t just a focus for our UK teams - it’s a core part of our #responsibility value across all our global locations as part of our #ESG efforts. Recently, our team in Cape Town came together to collect donations for Mould Empower Serve , their charity partner for 2025. MES is a nonprofit organisation dedicated to providing sustainable solutions to poverty in the inner cities of Johannesburg, Cape Town, Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth), and Kempton Park: https://mes.org.za/. Pictured is Alexa Smit (She/Her), who delivered the donations, but this was a true team effort! The entire team rallied together and donated 12 black bags filled with essential items for the homeless, along with materials for their money-making projects, including e-waste collection. It's fantastic to see our global teams actively supporting their local communities - and even better when they share their stories with us.
