Traveling with an electric vehicle to the Oregon Coast is a great way to experience the beauty of the PNW, but it can take some planning due to limited chargers there. Here are some tips to save time and money while traveling with an EV to the Oregon Coast: Give Yourself a Safety Buffer: Plan to make it to a Level 3 DC-fast charger or a Level 2 destination charger with at least 20% battery charge to keep it safe and make sure you have plenty of charge for your road trip. Book Lodging with On-Site Charging: By booking lodging with an onsite electric vehicle charger, you will save time and money charging up while you sleep. Consider booking a home with a Ranger Station? from Ranger EV for a seamless charging experience during your stay. Travel During Off-Peak Times: Traveling during the middle of the week or during shoulder season can help make the trip more efficient. More vacation rentals with EV chargers will be available and travel costs may be lower during shoulder season. By following these tips, you can have a more efficient and cost-effective EV road trip along the beautiful Oregon Coast.
