What a fantastic week! On July 16th, we partnered with Anna 4 Paws to provide canine specific first aid kits and a full day of training to twenty dedicated working canine handlers from Birmingham, Troy, Leesburg, and Forest Park. Held in Birmingham, this event equipped brave handlers with essential skills to care for their canine partners. On July 17th, we continued the momentum with a visit to Birmingham PD where we learned more about Anna 4 Paws’ mission and heard from local veterinary partners who will be keeping the donated canine first aid kits up to date from now on. The energy and camaraderie were truly inspiring. Thank you to everyone involved, we’re thrilled to see so much support for this cause. Announcing Our Exciting Partnership with Anna 4 Paws! We are delighted to share that Random Acts is teaming up with Anna 4 Paws to host a vital canine first aid class for police canine handlers from Alabama and Georgia. This single-day event on July 16, 2024, will be held at the Birmingham Police Department and will provide essential training to 20 dedicated canine handlers from the Birmingham, Troy, Leesburg, and Forest Park Police Departments. The training will be followed by a special event on July 17, 2024. We'll be sharing a little more about our partnership during a presentation for special guests hosted by Birmingham PD. We're looking forward to the opportunity for our team to join in and present a significant donation to support these incredible canine teams. This partnership is an extraordinary opportunity to support working canine teams and their canine partners, ensuring they have the necessary skills and equipment to save lives in the field.
