Today, the Ramsey County Attorney's Office invited law enforcement, prosecutors, advocates, court personnel, mental health, and school professionals to an important Extreme Risk Protection Order (ERPO) training. Participants had the opportunity to learn from experts on Extreme Risk Protection Orders (also known as red flag laws), what they mean in Minnesota and how they can improve personal safety by removing firearms in certain situations. This knowledge is vital for helping keep our communities safe. Together, we are taking crucial steps toward safety and well-being in Ramsey County!

Five Ramsey County-owned buildings are illuminated green until the end of Veterans Day as part of Operation Green Light, a nationwide initiative to let veterans know they are seen, appreciated and supported. This is the third year of Operation Green Light, led by the National Association of Counties. It is designed to raise awareness around the unique challenges veterans face and the resources available at the county, state and federal levels to assist veterans and their families. On Oct. 22, the Ramsey County Board of Commissioners presented a proclamation to Innovize in recognition of Manufacturing Month, acknowledging its contributions to the local economy and community.
