We believe that all young people want the same things: to learn, to feel valued, and to experience success.
关于我们
Through direct service youth programs and highly regarded training programs for adults, Ramapo works on behalf of children who face obstacles to learning, including children with special needs, enabling them to succeed in the classroom, at home, and in life. At the heart of our work is the conviction that all children seek the same things: to learn, feel valued, and experience success. Ramapo helps young people learn to align their behaviors with their aspirations. Our programs include: ? Camp Ramapo, a residential summer camp serving children with a range of cognitive disabilities and behavioral challenges, including autism spectrum disorders ? Ramapo Training, empowering educators, parents and other youth-service professionals with practical tools to promote positive behaviors and foster environments that support success for all children ? Ramapo Retreats, short-term, adventure-based experiences for youth, educators and community-based organizations that give participants a greater appreciation of their own potential, and strategies for successful communication, teamwork and leadership ? Staff Assistant Experience, a residential transition-to-independence program for young adults with social, emotional, or learning challenges that helps participants to practice vocational and life skills within an inclusive community For more information about Ramapo for Children, visit our website and follow us on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/ramapoforchildren) and Twitter (https://twitter.com/Ramapo4Children).

???? ?????????????????? ???????? ??????, ????????, ?????? ?????????????????? — ?????????? ???????????????????? ?????? ???????? ???????? ???????????? ??????????????. Every summer, Ramapo welcomes campers back and revels in all the ways they continue to build skills, make friendships and blossom. It is especially poignant when campers make the leap into being staff – a full circle moment that enables them to use the skills they have learned and give back to camp. 2024 had the biggest class of counselors who made the transition from camper. This year there were eight people who rose to the challenge to become counselors. We caught up with some of them to ask about their experience.
