This month, our SPOT (Safety Perfected or Trained) Award recipient, Brian, has stood out for his ingenuity and dedication to safety without compromise! While assisting a Foreman in doing chair drops, Brian noticed that the rappelling rope was sometimes coming into contact with points on the building beyond the parapet. He came up with the idea of tying a clip on the end of the softener so that it can be attached at any point on the rope. Brian identified a hazard that was not previously recognized and created a solution.
