?? EXCITING NEWS ?? We are excited to announce our newest partnership with Sound Rivers, Inc.! Our team will oversee the cleanup, maintenance, and educational efforts for TWO trash traps in the Marsh Creek tributary. The first trap, located near Stony Brook Drive, is where we recently removed over one ton of litter. The second trap is tucked away near Huntleigh Drive. We will need your help to keep them clean and functioning properly. WE have all the supplies to keep you dry, so follow us on Meetup (link in comments) for the next opportunity to hop in the creek. Trash traps were made possible through a partnership between Sound Rivers, Inc. NUCA of the Carolinas Young Leaders rolled up their sleeves this past Sunday to give back to our community by teaming up with The Great Raleigh Cleanup! We kicked off the 6th Annual Mud Day with a Little Rock Creek cleanup. 14 amazing volunteers suited up and pulled out 80 pounds of wet, nasty plastic and styrofoam!

We took on this project after Councilwoman Christina Jones informed us of a resident's concern about the area. We always look forward to an opportunity to make a positive impact and address the issues that matter to Raleigh residents. Through our efforts, we removed an impressive 720 pounds of trash and 26 shopping carts, transforming the area and showcasing the power of the Workforce program. The results speak for themselves, and we're proud of the difference we've made!
