Every day, thousands of neighbors across Wake County experience homelessness. More and more, the face of homelessness includes families, children, seniors, and veterans. Every Tuesday, we serve in Downtown Raleigh, offering prayer, hygiene, care packages, and transportation to Family Night at the Dream Center. Street Outreach is a weekly opportunity to share the Gospel, encouragement, prayer, and resources to our neighbors facing displacement. We believe that everyone deserves love and dignity, which is why we are passionate about remaining consistent and continuous through our outreach ministries. We need to take time to listen and let people know they are not forgotten. If you would like to join us, you may sign up on our website: https://lnkd.in/e2sQ6G4n

Yesterday, we had the great pleasure of hosting our annual Pastors Luncheon. It was a great afternoon of partnership! We heard live testimonies from two DCD Recovery Program graduates. We learned the importance of food outreach within our cities. We also dived into the reality of pursuing our anti-trafficking ministry. But truly, we paused to engage in building valuable relationships through our local churches and church partners. ? Our commitment to staying Christ-centered and gospel-focused connects us to volunteers, individual donors, church partnerships, and business relations to fulfill our mission. These valuable relationships allow us to reach, rescue, and restore local men, women, and children through Christ. ? Thank you to the pastors and leaders who attended — we are so grateful for you, your vision, and your supportive congratulations! Construction has begun on TWO new homes! The Dream Center Discipleship Residential Recovery Program is expanding!?We are partnering with Robuck Homes to?continue the "Building a Community of Hope" campaign to build TWO additional recovery homes. These homes will serve as a safe space to?welcome those facing active addictions, allowing them the opportunity to find freedom.? Raleigh Dream Center purchased a 3.3-acre property to build 5 homes on for our residential DCD Recovery Program. In 2023, Robuck Homes and Homes By Dickerson were able to build 2 of the 5 houses. We invite you to partner with us financially to help make these additional homes a reality for the people who are seeking addiction recovery but are on a waitlist due to limited capacity. How You Can Get Involved → 1) Consider giving a ONE-TIME GIFT to our Recovery Fund. Any funds received above the $175,000 needed to furnish and prepare the 2 new homes will be applied to our recovery program as a whole. 2) Become a RECURRING MONTHLY DONOR to support the recovery program. $4,000 a month is needed to support this expansion for 2 additional homes. Join us in continuing to build out this community of hope with two additional homes to provide more space for additional people to join the program. This Valentine's Day, the greatest gift we can give those we love is the love of Christ. Isaac Orndorff, a volunteer who has been serving four years said, "I started volunteering with Raleigh Dream Center because I wanted to help and serve the Lord while on Earth. Serving at RDC has made me more confident as a leader, not judging others, but instead learning how God loves all his children...and how faith connects us. Serving has brought me closer to God, showing me how faith persists in hard circumstances. It has shown me how blessed I am with all He has given me."
