Hard to believe #DeltekProjectCon was just last week Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center. Over 3,700 attendees and guests took part in all the learning, networking and fun the event offered. The feedback is in and want to say thank you to our incredible speakers Eva Saha, Jose M. Hernandez & Jason Dorsey who contributed to the event's success! More heartfelt thanks goes to #teamdeltek members who contributed behind the scenes on campaign execution, strategy and content and to those who hosted our customers, shared their expertise and provided logistical assistance onsite!? ? While there are many leaders and Deltek staff who work all year to make it happen, our team is not alone. Thanks to our vendor partners for being there from the brainstorming and vision to the execution and debriefs: Nth Degree, Big Picture Media & Events, Inc., RainFocus, Hello! When I took on this role at Salesforce, I knew what I was getting into—Erin Oles is a visionary who pushes the boundaries of what’s possible in event experiences and I was thrilled to work with her again. Within my first month, she proposed an idea: an AI-powered chatbot to help Dreamforce attendees navigate the campus, schedule recommended sessions, and get personalized answers to their questions. Ask Astro quickly became my passion project. It started out with a small team of us developing a robust feature that integrated with RainFocus to pull session, speaker, and sponsor information in real time, while also centralizing everything we were communicating to attendees across channels. Less than three weeks before Dreamforce, we decided to leverage our newest product, Agentforce, to power Ask Astro. It was risky to replatform so close to the event, but it was the right choice to showcase our latest product. Ask Astro was provided to attendees through our Eventbase mobile app. We saw huge success with over 7K attendees taking advantage of it during the three days of Dreamforce, and gained valuable insights into the most common attendee questions. I'm excited about our plans for its evolution over the next year as we continue to roll it out to most of our strategic events! It not only is incredibly helpful to our attendees throughout the event, but it gives them hands on experience with our latest product, Agentforce. Shout out to Hannah Billings, my partner in crime for many months, who worked night and day to bring this baby to life. ??
