Our Family Connection Program provides support groups and life enrichment services to children and families living in emergency shelters and transitional living centers. Recently, we read about Pepper the dog, whose owner struggles with alcoholism. Using their handmade animal puppets, the kids shared how Pepper’s story made them feel, learning that their voices and feelings matter. Children in our Family Connection Program build confidence, communication skills, and healthy coping skills—all in a safe, supportive space. #AlcoholAwarenessMonth
