After three impactful days in Madrid, the CEN and CENELEC JTC24 meeting wrapped up with a clear takeaway—standardization is not just about compliance; it’s about unlocking the future of digital interoperability. ?? Key Highlights from JTC24: ? Strong cooperation between industry leaders, policymakers, and organizations working toward a unified Digital Product Passport (DPP) framework. ? Engaging discussions with UN/CEFACT, especially around Recommendation 49, emphasizing the need for structured, harmonized global supply chains. ? A tight timeline ahead, but an equally strong commitment to making DPP a truly inclusive, technology-agnostic, and globally scalable initiative. ? The RAIN Alliance fostering their position in the ecosystem as DPP data carrier and identity provider. ? #Madrid provided the perfect backdrop for reconnecting with industry peers, exchanging ideas, and aligning on the next steps for standardization and regulatory alignment.
