Hello, Friends, We are so close to the Prepare a Place event, and we wanted to send a little reminder that the event starts at 5:30 pm, Sunday, December 8th. Come prepared for good food, great music, and time set aside to see all God is doing.

My friends! It is with bittersweet pleasure that I get to announce that our Prepare a Place event is sold out! Sweet because, praise God, he has stirred so many hearts to join us for the event. And Bitter because if we had 5x the tickets and seats, I still wouldn't be able to fit all the people we'd like to share the event with. Dear Friends, I hope by not posting a link, we can avoid the algo's selective reach for this post. I'd like to mention again that Rahab House is hosting an event on December 8th in Brentwood, TN. Why? - Human trafficking is unimaginably horrible. - Nashville is a hub of this darkness - Nashville does not have enough safe beds to support people trying to exit those destructive circles and circumstances. The "Prepare a Place" event will raise money to open and operate a multi-bed location where women can take refuge, connect with needed support and resources, and make the best possible next decision. I am asking you to: 1. Pray like you believe God hears you. 2. Consider supporting financially or buying a twenty-five dollar ticket to come to the event. 3. Tell somebody. When I saw just how deep the darkness of human trafficking was, I knew I could never look away. We don't have to make misery tourists of everybody we know, but awareness is a powerful tool in this battle. Invite your community leaders to discern the right way to introduce their community to a greater awareness of the darkness in our world and the God who will someday finally and completely vanquish it. If they, too, are unable to look away and want to co-laborer in what God has called Rahab House to, direct them to this page or Rahab House DOT Com.
