What a wonderful conversation about sustainability, mobility, and livability! Thank you, Andy Lucyshyn, PE, PTOE, Alan Thompson, and Shelly Hazle, for joining us as panelists. One of our faculty mentors, Ugur Orak, moderated the panel. Thank you, Dr. Orak, for the insightful questions! The event was beautifully organized and coordinated by Andrea Lawrence, our executive assistant, and Josh Narrell, our program graduate assistant. Excellent work! We look forward to seeing you for our next panel on Economic Development and Infrastructure on November 22, 2024! https://lnkd.in/drYjjvvi

Nashville, “don’t forget to vote!” Today we have an opportunity to vastly improve Nashville’s mobility options. Without a dedicated transit fund we are sending our federal dollars to Denver, Phoenix, Charlotte, etc. Vote for the Transit Referendum to establish a dedicated fund. Let’s make a commitment for a mobile Nashville. ?

Last week, RaganSmith had the privilege of attending ULI’s Fall Conference in Las Vegas. We were able to connect with our fellow Nashville ULI Chapter members and enjoyed a great tour of the Las Vegas Raiders stadium which provided us a brief glimpse of future possibilities on Nashville's East Bank. We also learned about key issues addressing housing, infrastructure, workforce, sustainable energy, the importance of placemaking, and AI application in our daily life. We're proud to be members of the Urban Land Institute organization, which is committed to education, research, and collaboration in the name of making our world a better place.

Yesterday, Troy Gardner, lead landscape architect, and other RaganSmith team members attended the groundbreaking for the 'Gateway to Chattanooga' beautification project at U.S. 27 and Fourth Street. This project will create a welcoming and bio-diverse gateway to Downtown Chattanooga with 13 tree species, native shrubs, perennials, and wildflowers. RaganSmith is proud to be a part of this pilot beautification project, and we are hopeful to see how it will grow across communities throughout the state!
