Together with you we help ukrainian children who live in danger, giving them HOPE.

关于我们

Radooga is a unique ministry in Ukraine driven by the vision to change the nations by strengthening the Church. The Radooga staff work toward this goal by presenting youth summer camps, year-long robotic clubs and competitions. Radooga was founded by Oleg and Lena Vasilevsky, who organized their first camp in 1994 with the help of CCX(InterVarsity CF, IFES) students they lead. Their aim was to do high-quality Christian camps for Ukrainian children. As the camps grew in quantity and popularity, it became obvious what a powerful evangelistic and discipleship tool the camping ministry was. God let the ministry grow from one-time summer projects to a year-round operating organization in Ukraine and USA. Ministry values - God-centeredness, giving HOPE for children at risk

Should we care about mental health? It may seem that this concept is not relevant for Christians, but this is a misleading thought. ??Even Christ took care of His mental health. How? By serving others. Forgiving. Loving. And also → being alone, enjoying nature that He Himself had created, cleansing the Temple, being 100% focused and in the moment when meeting with people. Remember the Samaritan woman, the woman with the discharge of blood, and others. The eve of World Mental Health Day is just the right time to plan to do what will make us more like Christ.

How can you be effective for the Kingdom? How can you help those who really need it? For more than 30 years, we at Radooga have been caring for children, 100% of whom have experienced trauma. These children include orphans, children whose parents have addictions, and children who live without security because of the ongoing war in Ukraine. In joining with our mission, you reach 1500 children who, for the past 9 months have been attending trauma healing clubs. As a result, one out of every four children has begun to be interested in God, and one out of every 7 children has started coming to church. Over the past year, more than 163 parents have joined a church. God is doing miracles, turning children’s traumas to triumphs. Join the ministry.

30 years of work! Happy Birthday to us-Radooga! We started out as English summer camps for Ukrainian orphans. Now, we run all year, changing the lives of more than 1500 children at a time. This project includes Radooga clubs and camps in Ukraine, as well as summer camps for displaced Ukrainians in Europe. We started with the goal of helping orphans have better lives and become leaders for Christ. Now, with your support, we help traumatized children, looking both to their immediate needs and to giving them the best future possible. Thank you, our partners, for your faith in our project, for your trust in Oleg Vasilevsky and Lena, and for your dedication in supporting us.

You are having an even wider influence than we told you! How? Earlier, we talked about 10 cities where, together with your partners, you heal children’s traumas and give them hope. But, in reality, Radooga has clubs in 16 population centers. You are reaching children in big cities, small towns, and even villages. Together, we cover 9 of Ukraine’s 24 oblasts. Some locations are just 30 miles from occupied territory. These places are dangerous and loud with the noises of *Ar. Despite these bad conditions, there are still families there with children who have psychological traumas. Thank you!

“This is a modern method that helps us communicate with children.” - teacher Stanislav in Odesa, a new city for Radooga. Stanislav and Kostyantin (teachers) have been with Radooga for just a month, but these men burn with the desire to do good in the world. As of today, they have gathered 63 children into their club! Just imagine! ??They have accomplished this in just a few weeks of work in the small city of Uzhne (near Odesa). Pray that their service in this new Radooga location would be effective. You can get to know Stanislav and Kostyantin better in visuals.
