This Giving Tuesday, we’re highlighting a project built on generosity. The National Philanthropic Trust's (NPT) World Giving Library is a dynamic platform where users can explore global giving traditions. It challenges the Global North-centric view of philanthropy by featuring giving traditions from around the world and empowering users to contribute their own entries. From the early days of our work with NPT, we knew that the World Giving Library would present unique challenges (our favorite kind to solve). The website needed to be more than just a repository—it had to be a dynamic, interactive tool that amplified diverse voices. A Moment to Reflect and Recommit: https://lnkd.in/evs5fHW7 This election has left me feeling sad, angry, and confused about the direction of our country. It’s hard to come to terms with the fact that so many voters seem comfortable with racism, sexism, intolerance, and inaction in the face of urgent crises. This moment feels heavy, and I know many of you are feeling it too. But amidst the grief and frustration, I’m finding strength and hope in the incredible work of our clients. These are organizations that are not only resisting the forces of division and injustice but actively creating the kind of future we want to see—one grounded in equity, justice, and sustainability. Radish Lab has always been dedicated to working with purpose-driven organizations because we believe in the power of messaging, design, and technology to propel change and encourage meaningful discourse. It’s a mission we’re proud to share with our incredible clients. In our 12+ years as an agency, we’ve worked with over 150 organizations that make an impact every day, but here are just a few of the organizations whose work is more critical than ever: ? Community Change builds the power of low-income people, especially people of color, to create a multiracial democracy and a fair economy where everyone can thrive. ? Women's Refugee Commission defends the autonomy and rights of migrant and refugee women, ensuring their voices are heard and their humanity respected. ? Climate Central, Inc. creates local storylines and compelling visuals that make climate change personal and show what can be done to address it. ? Equimundo: Center for Masculinities and Social Justice promotes gender equality and a world free from violence by engaging men and boys in partnership with women, girls, and individuals of all gender identities. ? The New York Community Trust empowers everyone to participate in democracy by getting out the vote, fostering a barrier-free electoral system, and helping grantees mobilize their communities. These organizations are on the front lines of creating a more just, equitable, and sustainable world. They inspire me to keep moving forward, even when the road ahead feels daunting. If you’re feeling the weight of this moment, one of the best ways to take action is to support those who are driving meaningful change.
